Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge has recorded a personal video message to celebrate and mark the beginning of Children’s Hospice Week.
The Duchess, as Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), has seen first-hand the remarkable work that children’s hospice services like EACH provide for children and families – helping families make the most of every precious moment.

Together for Short Lives is the leading UK charity that speaks out for all children and young people who are expected to have short lives. Together with everyone who provides care and support to these children and families, we are here to help them have as fulfilling lives as possible and the very best care at the end of life. We can’t change the diagnosis, but we can help children and families make the most of their time together. There are more than 49,000 children and young people in the UK with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions - an average of 75 in every Parliamentary constituency. They have set out the steps which they would like the next government to take to support children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in the next parliament.
