Lib Dems want to invest ₤12m in Bradford schools
David Ward is passionate about giving children the best start in life
As a father of two and a Governor of two local schools, David Ward is passionate about Lib Dem plans that would see an extra ₤2.5 billion invested in our schools, ₤12 million of which in Bradford.
The money would be used to cut class sizes, improve discipline and provide more one to one tuition for struggling pupils.
David Ward said, "We know that much of what happens to a person in their life has its roots in childhood. So it's absolutely crucial that every child has the best start in life.
That's the only way to build a society that's fair, where there are opportunities for everyone."
The Liberal Democrats know that every child is different, so schools need to be free to teach children in different ways and get the very best from them. The Lib Dems want every child to get an excellent education because it is the best way to get on in life, get a good job, and learn about the world.
