David Ward is the local choice

Local champion David Ward

David Ward is the local champion who will speak up for Bradford in Westminster.

David's been a local Councillor for 25 years, is a Governor at two local schools and has a record of action for our area: he has an office in the heart of the constituency on Killinghall Road, has held hundreds of advice surgeries and helped thousands of people and groups solve problems. David believes that an MP should be the voice of Bradford's people in Parliament and that can only be done by being part of the community.

Meanwhile Labour's little-known London-based MP lists Bradford as his second home and doesn't even have an office in the constituency. Despite being an MP for 19 years the vast majority of local residents don't even know his name.

The Conservatives are a long way behind in the race to win the Parliamentary seat in Bradford East. Their candidate, who lives miles away, is a former Labour Councillor now standing for the Conservatives.

With the General Election here set to be a two horse race between Labour and the Lib Dems, many Conservatives are switching to support David Ward to beat Labour.
