Shadow Home secretary Chris Huhne visited Bradford Moor yesterday, talking with residents and shop-owners along Leeds Road. Along with local champions David Ward and Shabbir Butt he warned against the dangers of "fake Tory change".
Chris was impressed by the large support Lib Dem candidates across Bradford are gaining, and the depth of disappointment at 13 years of failed Labour government. Exhorting supporters to give their all in the final few days of campaigning, he declared that he was confident that David Ward would soon be joining him in Parliament and that "this time you can make a difference".
Followed by an enthusiastic crowd waving Lib Dem banners and balloons, many driving by beeped their horns to show their support for a movement that is fighting hard to end 19-years of silence by Labour's little-known London-based MP.
