David Ward and his assistant Tracey Leeming spoke with Trustees and Staff at the Branch. Mr Ward said that animal welfare concerns produce a great deal of correspondence from his constituents.
Branch Chairman, Mrs Pullan, told Mr Ward that the branch had been providing an invaluable service to the community for one hundred and forty years. The work of the branch can only continue with the support of the people of Bradford as it is a totally self funding autonomous charity.
David Ward said
"The RSPCA do a fantastic job, I was delighted to take up the invite to visit the Branch and hear from the staff and trustees about their concerns. I would urge everyone in Bradford to be as generous as they can in supporting their work"
The Branch was most grateful to Mr Ward for taking time out in his busy schedule to visit the branch and discuss various challenges facing the charity today.
