    The Liberal Democrats have pledged a £10m boost for servicemen and women suffering from mental health problems.

    It would more than double the money currently available to help veterans overcome problems such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

    The investment would also help provide a series of measures including assistance to get people back into work.

    The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) has said the Liberal Democrats are the most transparent party when it comes to public spending plans.

    In its analysis of the parties spending plans, the IFS reported that the Liberal Democrats are the most transparent.

    It also said that the Conservatives give a "misleading impression" while Labour give "disappointingly little" information on borrowing and do not provide enough funding for the NHS.

    David Ward has today welcomed the news that the average Car Insurance premiums are now almost 6% lower than in 2014.

    Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate David Ward has welcomed the news released today that car insurance premiums have continued to fall in Bradford and across the country.

    According to the latest benchmark AA British Insurance Premium Index, the average car insurance premium fell by 1% or £5.58, to £530.47 in the first three months of 2015. This means that over the past year has fallen by 5.8%. In Bradford, car insurance premiums fell 28% between 2012 and 2014, saving Bradfordians over £170 on an average premium.
