Liberal Democrat Children's Minister Sarah Teather will accompany Bradford MP David Ward on a visit to Delius Primary Special School in Bradford Moor.
The school caters for 95 children with a range of special needs, including complex medical, physical and emotional and learning difficulties and disabilities.
At Delius, the Minister will be joined by the Head Teacher, Sally Joy, who will introduce her to some of the school's pupils and give her a tour of the facilities including the hydrotherapy pool and various class groups.
As a Bradford Councillor and Education Portfolio Holder, David Ward secured £28 million of funding for new special schools from the sale of Leeds-Bradford Airport. The money was used to open Delius and 6 other special schools in Bradford.
Commenting, David will say:
"It is fantastic to see the difference that Delius is making to these young children's lives. The school is doing brilliant work helping children who have some very complex needs.
"When I took over the education portfolio, Bradford was failing to give children with special educational needs access to the facilities they deserved. Bradford's special schools simply weren't fit for purpose - they were in inadequate buildings, some in a very poor state of repair.
"The Liberal Democrats on the Council completely changed this by securing funding from the sale of Leeds-Bradford Airport to build the best special schools in the country."
Children's Minister Sarah Teather, who has responsibility for Special Educational Needs, will say:
"Delius is a shining example of what can be achieved with state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated staff.
"Thanks to the fantastic work done by David Ward and the local Liberal Democrats, Bradford now has one of the best networks of special schools in Britain.
"It shows the difference that having Liberal Democrat MPs and Councillors fighting for you can make."
