David Ward MP visited one of the Bradford East Children's Centres to deliver Disney toys to the children.

The toys which were left over from a joint promotion between Wm Morrisons Supermarkets PLC and the Walt Disney Company were given to David Ward MP for him to help spread some Christmas cheer!

David has delivered them to all the Children's Centres in his constituency and given the remainder to the Sure Start Managers across the District.

Commenting, David Hewitt, the Communities Manager for Morrisons said:

"As a retailer with our roots in Bradford, we pride ourselves on being a big part of the community. We are always pleased to be able to give something back but even more so at this time of year, as we approach Christmas."

Commenting, David Ward MP said:

"It is very generous of Morrisons to provide me with these toys to distribute in Bradford. The children absolutely love them and the Children's Centres are delighted to have them."

Commenting, Cathy Presto, the Centre Manager for Mortimer House Children's Centre said:

"We are so delighted that David and Morrisons have provided us with these toys. The children love them and we will be giving more of them out at the children's Christmas party."

If you are a resident of the Bradford East constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
